‘Put aside pettiness’: PM urges Greens to rethink stance on housing bill

The Prime Minister has urged the Greens to “put aside pettiness” and vote for extra public housing.

The Greens and the Coalition just lately agreed to delay the Housing Australia Future Fund laws till October.

Anthony Albanese counselled the celebration to know “who they are saying no to” by stalling the invoice.

“You are saying no to people who are at risk of homelessness who are veterans, you are saying no to homes for women and children escaping domestic violence, you are saying no to Indigenous Australians in remote communities,” he stated.

“It is time, it is time that you put aside this pettiness, put aside the politics and actually voted for more public housing.”
