The 18-year-old man fell three metres in his Holden Trailblazer when it drove off Mount Muller Road at Mirimbah simply earlier than 11pm on Friday.
Victoria Police mentioned a mixed effort from emergency providers and a towing firm, secured the car and toook the motive force to security close to Mount Buller.
“His vehicle came to rest on its side and was prevented from sliding further down the mountain after being stopped by trees,” Victoria Police mentioned in an announcement.
“He was checked over at the scene however was uninjured.”
