Former Victoria Shadow Attorney General Tim Smith says, along with a “great” mate and Australia’s former Consul-General to New York, they’ve determined to journey to Kyiv in a gesture of “solidarity” and help for the Ukrainian folks.
“Ukrainian people as they are brutalized, butchered, attacked by this Russian terrorist state,” Mr Smith advised Sky News host Erin Molan.
“We can’t do much, but we can certainly show our moral support, and we’ve met with the Ukrainian ambassador to Australia, who was here.”
