Two males are recovering in hospital after they have been allegedly stabbed whereas confronting a person they thought had stolen from an inner-city Brisbane grocery store.

A 28-year-old man from Gladstone, greater than 400 kilometres north in Central Queensland, has been charged with wounding and possessing a knife in public.
