More arrests expected after brawl erupts at Sydney footy match
One man is in custody and extra arrests are anticipated following an “outrageous” brawl after a rugby league match in Sydney’s south-west.

Police had been known as to the oval on Miller Rd, Chester Hill, yesterday afternoon after experiences of an altercation at about 3pm.

Superintendent Adam Johnson stated by the point police arrived, most individuals had dispersed.

But imaginative and prescient of the brawl quickly emerged on social media.

The conflict occurred after a match between two beginner golf equipment from Berala and Lalor Park, Johnson stated.

A 22-year-old man from Merrylands is at present in custody and is aiding police with inquiries.

Johnson stated extra arrested had been anticipated, and urged anyone who may establish these concerned, or who had further footage of the combat, to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

No critical accidents had been reported, Johnson stated.

Police have reached out to each golf equipment and to the NSW Rugby League.
