A 3-year-old baby is lifeless and a person is combating for his life after a stabbing in an residence.
Paramedics and police had been known as to a unit block on Washington Ave in Riverwood in Sydney at 4pm on Wednesday after concern for welfare stories.
“Officers attached to Campsie Police Area Command attended and found a three-year-old boy deceased inside the unit,” a police spokesperson stated.
“Police also located a 45-year-old man with serious injuries; he was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics and taken to hospital in a critical condition.
“Police have established a crime scene and commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.”
Streams of cops and ambulances have been noticed on the scene as crowds collect on the road.
Paramedics had been seen speeding into the residence.
Washington Ave stays blocked off because the police operation is in place. A police helicopter circled overhead.
As investigations are ongoing, police have urged anybody with data to come back ahead.
