North Melbourne coach Alastair Clarkson seemed “absolutely broken” when he introduced he was stepping away from the sport for his psychological well being after racism accusations throughout his time as Hawthorn coach, says Herald Sun’s Susie O’Brien.
“He was a broken man – it is hard to imagine he is going to come back this season,” Ms O’Brien informed Sky News host Chris Kenny.
“Now that he has been cleared from these pretty serious allegations, it does very much clear the way for him to come back.
“He just needs to sit on a beach for the rest of this season and earn a bit of downtime.”
