A 16-year-old boy has been charged after a automobile mounted a footpath in Melbourne‘s north-west, hitting and killing a pedestrian.

The learner driver was allegedly driving on his personal when his automobile mounted a kerb and crashed into a person on the footpath on Taylors Road in Keilor Downs about 5.40am on Tuesday.

The 29-year-old Kealba man died on the scene.

The teenager suffered life-threatening accidents and was taken to the Royal Melbourne Hospital.
