The Commission on Appointments (CA) on Tuesday confirmed the promotions of Armed Forces of the Philippines deputy chief of employees Lieutenant General Charlton Sean Gaerlan and 48 different generals and flag officers.

During the CA committee listening to, Gaerlan shared that China’s harassment in opposition to Philippine troops in Kalayaan Island continues after Senator JV Ejercito requested how usually the incidents of hostilities by the Chinese Coast Guard are.
“There is always a continuous harassment of our troops there in Kalayaan Island Group and sometimes, the reprovision of troops there are always delayed depending on the situation at hand,” Gaerlan mentioned.
