Hypertensive illnesses are the fifth main reason for loss of life within the Philippines in 2022, information from the Department of Health confirmed.
According to Saleema Refran’s report on “24 Oras”, that is regardless of the lower in deaths by hypertensive problems from 48,000 in 2021 to 35,000 in 2022.

Pagka kasi nagkaroon na ng sintomas na ganyan, ibig sabihin mataas na talaga yung blood pressure,” Philippine Society of Hypertension President Dr. Dolores Bonzon mentioned.
Those with hypertension are additionally getting youthful, the medical doctors mentioned.
“Bakit tumataas ang blood pressure sa mga bata? Wala na silang exercise. Palagi na lang nakaupo lalo na nung pandemic puro zoom puro online, nakaupo,” Philippine Society of Hypertension Vice President Dr. Alejandro Diaz mentioned.
“Mga bata pwede ring maging hypertensive lalo na ngayon tumataas yung mga obese na adolescents especially during the pandemic.
