China realising ‘hostile diplomacy’ with Australia is ‘getting them nowhere’

Former international minister Alexander Downer says Trade Minister Don Farrell will likely be profitable along with his journey to Beijing in resolving the commerce issues Australia has with China.

“The Chinese will lift the restrictions on wine and on lobsters, crayfish and so on,” Mr Downer instructed Sky News contributor Steve Price.

“They’ll do that because they’ve realised … that this kind of hostile diplomacy towards a country like Australia is getting them nowhere.”
