The frontrunners to switch Liberal MP Stuart Robert have been revealed after his resignation.
Among them, a number one councillor which may dramatically reshape Gold Coast politics.
Long-serving Gold Coast City Council planning chief Cameron Caldwell has put his hand as much as run for LNP pre-selection to switch the outgoing minister, Mr Robert, because the member for Fadden.
Mr Caldwell is certainly one of a number of names touted for Mr Robert’s place, together with Fadden department head Fran Ward and former senator and Sky News host Amanda Stoker.
