Fire crews have been referred to as to the occasions business on the Pacific Highway at Slacks Creek about 2.20am.
A hearth had damaged out on the two-storey constructing.
Investigations are underway into what led to the 2 firefighters being injured. Officials stated each had greater than a decade’s skilled.
One wanted CPR after being rescued from the constructing, with each falling unconscious.
QFES Acting Commissioner Mike Wassing stated it was “very rare” for firefighters to be harm on this method.
Dr Stephen Rashford from Queensland Ambulances stated it was “difficult to determine” what occurred.
“It’s difficult to determine, in a fire there are obviously noxious gases so probably a lack of oxygen and exposure to those gases.
“There did not seem like any main traumatic accidents to each firefighters fortunately.”
Chris Knight from Queensland Police said they were looking at a potential electrical issue.
“We do know that there was an influence interruption over the previous few days on account of an influence pole that is been knocked down,” Knight said.
“There has been generated energy over a time period intermittently and all of these components will probably be considered.”
Residents in the surrounding areas, including Springwood, were warned to close their windows due to the smoke.
There have been 13 crews and 45 firefighters referred to as, together with ambulance and police.
