Pre-trial on missing e-sabong agent’s case set for June

A pre-trial listening to on the disappearance of an e-sabong agent, who was allegedly kidnapped in his dwelling in 2021, is ready to begin in June.

According to Emil Sumangil’s report on “24 Oras” on Monday, the San Pablo City Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 29 will start the proceedings on the case of e-sabong agent Ricardo “Jonjon” Lasco who has been lacking since August 31, 2021.

Expected to take the witness stand is the sufferer’s spouse, Princess, who  noticed her husband’s alleged kidnapping of their residence in Barangay San Lucas.

(It’s arduous to maneuver on, particularly as a result of our case has no developments. We simply hope Jon’s case is not going to be buried in addition to these of different lacking sabungeros.)

Authorities earlier filed theft and kidnapping expenses in opposition to a number of provincial law enforcement officials together with Police Staff Sergeant Daryl Panghangaan, Patrolman Roy Navarete, and Patrolman Rigel over Lasco’s abduction.

The sufferer’s household hoped that justice could be served as they allegedly had proof in opposition to the accused.

Howard Calleja, the sufferer’s authorized counsel, mentioned.

(Our shoppers assume that they’re the abductors and like I mentioned, we got dates to show it. We’re assured that our facet can be heard in these hearings.)

However, the authorized counsel of one of many suspects mentioned the law enforcement officials had no involvement within the case.

Alvin Exconde mentioned.

(The law enforcement officials had been harmless. They had been simply used as fall guys, I believe.) — Sundy Mae Locus/DVM, GMA Integrated News
