Lidia Thorpe’s father Roy Illingworth has revealed the reason for his estranged relationship together with his daughter, claiming the Senator mentioned a number of “bad and evil things” to him through the years.
Mr Illingworth mentioned he didn’t belief his daughter and “fell out of way from her”.
“She never acknowledged her brother, her only brother, just because he was white, her other sister,” he informed Sky News host Andrew Bolt.
“She was very cruel to me a few times, so I just didn’t really have much to do with her.”
Mr Illingworth mentioned the pair nonetheless contact one another on birthdays and on Father’s Day.
