Sky News Political Editor Andrew Clennell says he believes “Phil Lowe is gone” with Treasurer Jim Chalmers set to resolve on the RBA Governor’s place by mid-year.
“I think Phil Lowe is gone, the Treasurer said this week … he’ll make a decision on the future of the governor of the Reserve Bank mid-year, I think we will see rate rises before then too, perhaps even one next month but I’m predicting the governor will finish up when his term expires in mid-September,” Mr Clennell stated.
