An unseen image of Queen Elizabeth II together with her nice grandchildren taken by Princess Kate has been shared on the day she would have turned 97 – with some notable absentees.
The picture posted on Instagram by Kensington Palace reveals the proud great-grandma with Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis to mark what would have been the late monarch’s birthday on Friday.
Also included within the image is Lady Louise Mountbatten-Windsor, James, Earl of Wessex, Lena Tindall, Isla Phillips, Mia Tindall, Lucas Tindall and Savannah Phillips.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s children, Prince Archie, three, and Princess Lilbet, one, – who had been within the US when the image was taken – don’t seem within the snap taken at Balmoral in August, shortly earlier than the queen died.
