Chris Hemsworth has rolled out the welcome mat for Kelly Slater, who arrived on our shores this week forward of the Margaret River Pro competitors in Western Australia.
The match kicked off yesterday in Perth, however with Slater competing within the coming days, Hemsworth took the chance to hang-10 and go for a trial run with the American pro-surfer.
“Epic day of surf fun and sun,” the Aussie actor, 39, captioned a carousel of Instagram movies and pictures of them browsing within the area.
In the pictures, Hemsworth – who is predicated in Byron Bay in NSW – was all smiles as he and spouse, actress Elsa Pataky, spent the day within the water with 51-year-old Slater and their associates.
This isn’t the primary time Hemsworth has supported the 11-time World Surf League champion throughout a match.
Last yr, after the athlete took out his eighth Pipeline Pro title win in Hawaii, the Thor star was among the many first to congratulate him.
“Congrats, Kelly. Greatest of all time. What an inspiration,” he praised on Instagram.
And the duo have frolicked many occasions too, with Hemsworth accompanying Slater on a number of surf journeys prior to now, even browsing with the champ at his well-known WSL Surf Ranch in Lemoore, California.
“Lucky enough to surf the best wave pool on the planet. Big thanks to Kelly Slater and WSL for the opportunity!” Hemsworth shared on Instagram at he time. “This place is incredible.”
