“For anybody who knows me there – it’s pretty obvious how much I love Australia. I have such fond memories of touring there. It’s funny how time just passes. We’re counting the days until we get to come back – it’s so fun.”

“When you are on the road – in the States I am playing different cities every night — sometimes you have to look at the calendar and remind yourself where you are. I have definitely woken up in cities and not known where I was,” the actor stated, who has simply shot a darkish romantic comedy known as The Islander in Cyprus.
“I had to open my maps to see where I am. It happens. I have been doing that my entire life so I am used to it,” he stated.

I have been very lucky to have a diverse career in which I can do a lot of things that I like to do – movie and TV and Broadway and concerts. Every day I wake up and thank God I am able to do it.”
He continues: “It’s a bit unorthodox. I don’t think of it as hectic! I don’t get overwhelmed much. I take each day at a time.”
His 30-year marriage to Jill Goodacre definitely retains him targeted.
“My family is the most important thing to me. I don’t wake up and think ‘Oh God I have to do this or that’s so much work … oh, I have to do eight shows a week on Broadway … I gotta fly to Australia’. I don’t think like that. I live in the moment. I get on the plane and fly to Australia and go and gig,” he says.
“There are times when it is extremely busy but I am a huge believer in what is going on right now. What do we have to achieve right now and then you systematically do it and move on to the next. I don’t really feel hectic or out of sort. There is no secret to it. I love my family and love what I do. And I take it a day at a time.”
