Man’s legs crushed at factory

A employee has been critically injured when his legs grew to become trapped in equipment in an industrial accident at an Adelaide warehouse.

Emergency crews took a number of hours to free the person, aged in his 50s, after the horrific accident on the plastics recycling plant on Monday afternoon.

Paramedics have taken him to Royal Adelaide Hospital. He’s understood to be in a critical situation.

Fire, SES and ambulance labored to free the person at Recycling Plastics Australia at Blackburn St, Kilburn this afternoon.

Safe Work South Australia is on the scene and can examine.
