Assistant Treasurer and Financial Services Minister Stephen Jones says the Liberal social gathering and Peter Dutton had been “invited to engage” on the Voice to Parliament and it’s “a bit rich” for them to return together with new concepts afterwards.
“The Liberals and Peter Dutton were invited to engage … they chose mostly not to, it’s a bit rich for them to come along ten minutes after and say ‘oh we’ve had some new ideas’ when they were invited to be a part of the process all along, it’s rich … it’s against the will of the majority of Australian people,” Mr Jones advised Sky News Australia.
