Man rescued from garbage truck after it crashed into western Sydney restaurant
A person has been lower from the cabin of a rubbish truck after it slammed into the entrance of restaurant in western Sydney, trapping him in his seat.

Firefighters used heavy equipment to lower and “push” the entrance of the truck off of the person on the scene on Joseph Street in Lidcombe, NSW Fire Brigades’ Superintendent Adam Dewberry stated.

The truck allegedly crashed into the constructing, which homes a restaurant, about 6am, inflicting structural injury to the constructing.

The man, who was a passenger within the truck, was solely freed about 7.30am.

He has been taken to hospital by ambulance.

Fire and Rescue NSW have stated the person was ”conscious and responsive” after they pulled him from the truck.
