The 34-year-old was taken to Gold Coast University Hospital with head accidents and a big laceration to her leg after allegedly being tortured and assaulted by two males, who had been recognized to the sufferer.
About half-hour later a convoy of officers flip up, arresting the 2 males.
Neighbours instructed 9News it wasn’t a simple arrest, with a number of shouting and officers compelled to interrupt the door down.
The males – one aged 36 from Mareeba, the opposite a 40-year-old from Surfers Paradise – had been each charged with one depend every of torture and a string of different offences, together with: wounding, assault occasioning bodily hurt and deprivation of liberty.
The males had been scheduled to look in Southport Magistrates Court as we speak.
The girl is in a secure situation.
