Human Rights Campaigner Peter Tatchell says transgender athletes shouldn’t have a ‘blanket ban’ on all sports activities as ‘sports has to be fair’ for all.
“It’s not fair if people have particular unique advantages – not all trans athletes are the same, some may have an advantage and others don’t,” he stated.
“There shouldn’t be a blanket ban on all trans athletes, there should be individual assessment,” Mr Tatchell stated.
“We need more science, more investigation – it has to be fair,”
