Unused tunnels under Wynyard Station to be opened to public for first time

Unused tunnels below Wynyard Station will be opened to the general public for the very first time for Vivid Sydney

The immersive expertise, known as Dark Spectrumuses lights and sounds to "mimic the human experience".

The spectacle will span over 900 metres and can be damaged up into eight rooms, every one representing a special side of life and the human expertise.

"Diving beneath the surface of what is now one of the city's busiest railway lines, Dark Spectrum is a truly mesmerising and engaging experience for visitors to explore Sydney in a whole new way," Gill Minervini, Vivid Sydney Festival Director mentioned.

"I am excited we get to shine a light on unknown spaces across the city."

Dark Spectrum will run throughout Vivid Sydney, beginning on May 26 and ending on July 16.

Vivid Sydney Dark Spectrum in Wynyard tunnels

The gentle exhibition will head on a worldwide tour following Vivid Sydney. 

Dark Spectrum is one a part of Vivid Sydney, an annual gentle competition that showcases over 300 gentle shows and websites in Sydney's CBD.
