The most Googled inventory on the ASX immediately has been revealed.
One of the world’s largest lithium producers sparked a comeback for lithium shares after making an attempt for a $5.5 billion takeover bid at WA’s Liontown Resources — a suggestion that was rejected.
“Liontown Resources was the most Googled stock on the ASX today,” Trading Up host Heidi Cuthbert stated on Monday’s episode.

“Liontown rejected a 5.5 billion takeover bid from American giant Albemarle.
“The bid was for $2.50 per share which sent Liontown shares surging.
“Clearly, Liontown shareholders expect Albemarle is going to dig a little deeper and sweeten the offer.”
The bid pushed up the worth sufficient that Perth investor Tim Goyder has regained his standing as a billionaire.
