Fairbridge Village withdrew because the venue in December and a Bindoon property was introduced as the brand new venue two weeks earlier than ROAM went bust in February.
Instead, a relaunched, two-day occasion was held at a Perth nightclub in March, gifting 2021 ticket purchasers a ticket as a “gesture of goodwill”, with some pageant goers calling the act a “lousy attempt” at compensation with LUUDE and Genesis Owusu not performing.
But roadblocks shortly began to look, with Premier Mark McGowan’s onerous border opening backflip and ROAM’s ticketing platform going into administration amongst them.
Festival organisers then cancelled the occasion, confirming the news by way of a press release on social media on February 20.
