AFP investigation after Lidia Thorpe ‘pulverised’ by police at rally

Speaking on the occasion was anti-transgender activist Kellie-Jay Keen-Minshull, a British lady also called Posie Parker.

Thorpe walked as much as the rostrum as Keen-Minshull was talking, shouting, “You are not welcome”.

When she approached the rostrum, she was pulled to the bottom by a police officer.

Federal Attorney-General Mark Dreyfus said he’d sought “pressing recommendation” from the AFP commissioner.

Thorpe said she had been “pulverised” by the police.

“I’ve been assaulted by the police immediately,” she said.
