NT Police Deputy Commissioner Michael Murphy says the rise in police energy within the Northern Territory will present “better safety outcomes” for residents.
“It will allow police to stop, search, detain, and seize anyone suspected of carrying edge weapons or weapons for that matter,” he mentioned throughout a media convention on Wednesday.
