Perrottet admits to calling NSW Health Minister when his wife needed an ambulance

NSW Premier Dominic Perrottet has admitted to calling Brad Hazzard when his spouse wanted an ambulance – because the NSW Health Minister occurred to be in a gathering with the state’s Ambulance Commissioner.

“My wife was sick at the time, was paralysed in bed, and I actually spoke to Brad Hazzard in relation to that matter and an ambulance was organised in the ordinary course,” Mr Perrottet informed Sky News host Sharri Markson.

“What I do know, is that I called Brad Hazzard, spoke to Dom Morgan, and their advice was ‘no you should get home, she’ll need an ambulance’, and an ambulance was called out.”

Mr Perrottet stated he didn’t ask for any “special consideration” and known as Brad Hazzard for recommendation which is “not uncommon”.

“I’d spoken to Brad, who was randomly enough in a meeting at that point in time, with Dom Morgan.”
