New Zealand’s Opposition Leader Christopher Luxon has sat down with Sky News Australia in a wide-ranging interview through which he mentioned NZ Prime Minister Chris Hipkins, crime, and NZ’s Maori Voice to Parliament.

Mr Luxon claimed that the New Zealand authorities has been “totally, utterly soft” on crime because the nation has develop into “increasingly unsafe”.

“The only target the government has had is a reduction in the prison population,” he mentioned.

“We’ve got violent crime up over 31 per cent, we’ve had a 50 per cent growth in gang membership.

“So, you know, people are not feeling safe.”
