National University-Nazareth School gained its third straight NBTC title after taking down Fil-Nation Select-USA, 75-64, within the Division 1 Finals of the 2023 NBTC on the Mall of Asia Arena.
Reinhard Jumamoy led NUNS with 16 factors, 15 rebounds, 10 assists, and 5 steals which earned him the Ato Badolato Most Outstanding Player award. RJ Colonia, in the meantime, had 23 factors and 10 rebounds, whereas Kurt Perciano added 10 markers.
Jason Mandaquit led Fil-Nation Select with 16 markers and 6 boards, whereas Evan Bayla had 13 factors and 10 rebounds.
Jumamoy, Colonia, Mandaquit, and Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu’s Jared Bahay and Raffy Celis composed the Division 1 Mythical Team.
In the Division 2 Finals, Team Tarlac beat Don Bosco-Dumaguete, 86-84.
The Division 2 Mythical Team embrace Most Outstanding Player Earl Sapasap (Team Tarlac), Matthew Jucom (Don Bosco-Dumaguete), Lebron Nieto (Ateneo), Kaden Puletua (Homegrown Australia), and Sean Bondoc of Doc Bolero-NCR.
