(“He’s not just a coach, he’s a life coach, I’ll learn a  lot from him… I’m excited to have Coach Topex as my coach because he also came from LPU and he’s been able to coach some of those who came from us in the juniors. It’s funny that even if I move to La Salle, he’ll still be my coach.”)

Despite the transfer, Rubico mentioned his LPU group is there to assist him.

“Alam naman nila kung anong makakabuti sa’kin, kung anong gusto ko. Dun lang sila lagi sa likod ko.”

(“They know this will be good for me, and for what I want. They’re always there behind me.”)
