Cameron Diaz’s first film in 9 years is in chaos due to a meltdown by co-star Jamie Foxx.
Insiders say Oscar-winner Foxx, 55, was livid over manufacturing points, which led to 4 folks being sacked, experiences The Sun.
Back In Action, which is being filmed in London, is the primary film that Diaz, 50, is engaged on since Annie in 2014.
But the star’s return is reportedly not going easily as a consequence of Foxx.
“There have been some issues on set and Jamie has had a major meltdown over it all,” a supply stated.
“He demanded the problems be sorted immediately and sacked four of the production staff – as if that would magically improve the situation.”
Those axed are an government producer, an assistant director and a unit director, in addition to Foxx’s driver.
The supply added: “Some people working on it are totally fed up with how this has played out and Jamie has become pretty unpopular.”
Foxx, who gained the Best Actor Oscar in 2005 for Ray, and Diaz have been filming since December, with a significant explosion stunt being shot on the Thames in London.
It is their third time working collectively after Annie and Any Given Sunday in 1999.
Diaz had stated she was retiring in 2018 to concentrate on household life with husband, Benji Madden, 44. They had a daughter through surrogate in 2019.
Foxx introduced he had managed to deliver Diaz on board for the movie final June.
In a cellphone chat, that was launched on-line, she stated: “Jamie Foxx, only you could get me back in action. I can’t frickin’ wait. It’s gonna be a blast!”
