The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) lauded employees on the Roxas City Airport for returning a number of beneficial objects passengers had misplaced.
Among the objects returned was a sling bag containing P200,000 in money, medicines, and essential paperwork which belonged to a former Capiz Governor.
“The passenger had already departed to Manila onboard flight 5J 374 when it was found by Cebu Pacific employees Roque Arcenio and Victor Aragon and was endorsed to the CAAP Security and Intelligence Service (CSIS) personnel who then asked assistance from PNP-AVSEU,” CAAP mentioned.
“The sling bag was turned over to the representative of the owner,” it added.
CSIS personnel additionally recovered baggage that passengers had mistakenly left on the airport’s arrival space.
The CSIS personnel recognized the luggage homeowners and the objects have been returned quickly after.
