Adelaide midfielder Matt Crouch has suffered a fractured proper fibula in a knock at coaching and appears set to overlook the beginning of the AFL season.
Crouch harm his leg on Friday with scans revealing a minor fracture.
The midfielder won’t require surgical procedure however the Crows mentioned they might not have a timeline for his restoration for a number of days.
“Matt will spend the weekend resting and we will review him again in 48 hours to assess the injury,” Crows high-performance supervisor Darren Burgess mentioned.
“It’s unfortunate timing because he has had a strong pre-season to date, but thankfully the injury should not be too disruptive.”
Crouch, 27, is trying to bounce again from a tough 2022 season, when he performed 11 video games and was out and in of Adelaide’s group after lacking all of 2021 with a groin harm.
