The RBA “absolutely must” stay an unbiased physique in controlling inflation as a physique is required to make the arduous selections which obtain backlash, says Grattan Institute CEO Danielle Wood.
“Phillip Lowe and the RBA is facing a lot of backlash for doing these hard things and I understand why,” Ms Wood instructed Sky News host Ross Greenwood.
“People are hurting and it’s just really difficult I think, for politicians to inflict that.”
