A preferred fridge has been urgently recalled over fears it may begin a fireplace attributable to a defect.
The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission recalled the defective Electrolux Home Products Beefeater Refrigerator sequence on Tuesday after issues had been raised about security.

“Water can penetrate the sealed electrical control board located on the rear of the refrigerator,” the ACCC warned.
“The refrigerator may cause a fire, posing a risk of injury to a consumer, and damage to property.”
