Asked in regards to the standing of his restoration, Cañete mentioned he’ll bear a follow-up checkup this week after a two-week remark.

“Ok naman po, medyo nahihilo lang po. ‘Yung leeg ko po di lang masyado nagagalaw,” Cañete advised GMA News Online final Thursday after their match in opposition to the Greenies.

(“I’m okay, although I still get dizzy. I’m still not able to move my neck freely.”)

Despite the mishap that occurred on the court docket, the Bukidnon native is happy to play the game once more.

“Siyempre naman po, looking forward po,” he mentioned.

(“Of course, I’m looking forward to it”)

The 16-year previous participant can also be grateful to San Beda as the college flew in his mother and father from Bukidnon.

“Nag-worry sila tapos lumipad sila rito and masaya naman sila na walang sobrang samang nangyari,” mentioned Cañete. “Hindi po nila (San Beda) ako pinabayaan, pati ‘yung shinoulder po nila plane tickets ng parents ko. Wala po akong kahit piso na nagastos.”

(“My parents were worried, so they flew in and they’re happy that nothing too bad happened… San Beda took care of me, they shouldered even the plane tickets for my parents. I didn’t have to spend a single peso.”)

Cañete had a nasty touchdown throughout their match in opposition to San Sebastian College-Recoletos final February 23.
