Former Labor minister Stephen Conroy has argued the federal government’s modifications to superannuation tax concessions should not a damaged election promise.
“If it’s being implemented after the next election, the Australian public get to vote about that policy and others at the next election and [if] they defeat us, the Liberal Party can say today they will repeal it,” he informed Sky News Australia.
“It can be repealed if we are defeated at the next election.”
