San Beda University highschool participant Kirk Cañete mentioned he’s on the street to restoration after sustaining an harm throughout their match towards the San Sebastian College-Recoletos on Thursday within the NCAA Season 98 juniors basketball playoff.
In a social media publish on Saturday, Cañete mentioned the incident that occurred to him was a nasty break that might have occurred to another athlete.
“As an athlete we are prone to injuries and accidents inside the court,” Cañete wrote.
“Last Thursday was a misfortune that every player wouldn’t want to happen. But I believe that everything that happen[s] in our lives (including the mishaps) is according to God’s plan. I may never understand it now but I know I will later on,” he added.
Cañete thanked the San Beda group, his teammates, and their family members for the help he has obtained particularly after the unlucky incident.
“I am now on my way to recovery. Please continue praying for my speedy recovery and I will dribble those balls inside the court again.”

Cañete had a tough touchdown as he went up towards San Sebastian’s Stephen Jardinico earlier than the primary half ended. San Beda finally gained the mentioned match and can face Mapua University within the subsequent spherical of the playoff.
