St. Jude Catholic School is now a win away from the Philippine Ching Yuen Athletic Association (PCYAA) tenth Anniversary Invitational basketball event after defeating Xavier School, 84-62, in Game 1 of the Finals final Thursday on the Uno High School Gym.
St. Jude had a 23-0 run within the second interval to flip the sport from a 22-15 deficit to a 38-22 lead within the Green Knights’ favor. The Green Knights led by 33, 84-51, late within the recreation earlier than finally taking its eleventh straight win within the event.
