President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. on Tuesday named Benito Techico as his particular envoy to China for commerce, investments, and tourism.
Techico took his oath earlier than Marcos on Tuesday, in keeping with the Presidential Communications Office (PCO).
The Office of the President stated Marcos expressed his hope that his appointment would deliver “new opportunities for economic development, growth and most importantly, peace and stability between the Philippines and China.”
Techico may also work with different authorities officers, business leaders, and different stakeholders to advertise and enhance financial cooperation between the 2 nations, the PCO stated.
Techico is the previous Chief Executive Officer and President of Philippine Blue Cross Biotech Corporation previous to his appointment.
