Minutes after leaving their wedding ceremony reception, a bride and groom have been severely injured when their classic bridal automotive plunged down a steep financial institution in rural Canterbury, New Zealand.

Emergency companies have been known as to a crash in Kowai Road, Springfield, shortly after midnight on Sunday native time.

St John Ambulance mentioned they have been alerted to the crash about 12.10am.

Two folks have been flown in separate helicopters to Christchurch Hospital – one in a severe situation and one other in a essential situation.

Two others have been pushed to hospital in a reasonable situation.

The bride and groom each remained in hospital on Sunday in a secure situation.

On Monday, Senior Sergeant Rachel Walker mentioned an investigation into the circumstances of the crash was ongoing.

“Our thoughts go out to the people who were injured in the crash, and their families,” she mentioned.

She declined to remark additional.
