Families, traders rejoice as Ivory Coast border opens after years of Covid closure

They queued for hours ready for Ivory Coast to reopen its land border with Ghana as divided households and merchants rejoiced after a three-year Covid closure saved them aside or put them out of business. Ivorians and Ghanaians flocked in each instructions via the tall metallic arches over the bridge which separates the village of Noe from Elubo in Ghana.
