A recall of a preferred model of milk is being expanded after it was linked to a case of botulism.
Earlier this week Inside Out Unsweetened Almond Milk Collagen + Calcium + Prebiotics 1L bottles with a use-by date of March 1 was recalled throughout New South Wales.
But that recall has been expanded to incorporate the unsweetened oat milk and barista oat milk from the model.
Any merchandise with a use-by date as much as and together with May 18 should not be consumed.
The recall has been issued as a result of it’s lacking a key phrase: “Keep refrigerated”.
“Failure to refrigerate this product may lead to microbial growth and biotoxin contamination which may cause illness/injury if consumed,” an announcement from NSW Health reads.
“This product must be kept refrigerated. Consumers should not drink this product if it has not been kept refrigerated.”
