The Department of Health on Sunday recorded 223 new COVID-19 infections, bringing the nationwide operating whole to 4,074,691 instances.
According to the DOH COVID-19 tracker, the tally of energetic instances decreased to 9,177 from 9,282 on Saturday.
Total recoveries rose by 222 to 3,999,565 and the demise toll elevated by 11 to 65,949.
The areas with probably the most new COVID-19 instances within the final 14 days are the National Capital Region with 516 instances; Calabarzon with 224; the Davao Region with 148; Western Visayas with 102; and Central Luzon with 83.
Among provinces and cities, the areas with probably the most new instances within the final two weeks are the City of Manila and the province of Davao Del Sur with 117 instances every, adopted by Quezon City with 87 instances; Cavite province with 79 instances; and Rizal province with 57 instances.
COVID-19 mattress occupancy in 1,934 services nationwide is at 17.8%, with 4,513 occupied and 20,827 vacant. — BM, GMA Integrated News
