Finch says ‘time is right’ for retirement call

After months of hypothesis after a failed house T20 World Cup title defence Australia’s longest-serving white-ball captain Aaron Finch has referred to as time on his worldwide profession.

The T20 skipper retired from the One-Day International format on the finish of 2022, and with no worldwide T20s on the agenda till September, the 36-year-old hung up the willow on Tuesday.

Finch made the announcement at a press convention on the MCG, leaving Cricket Australia in want of a brand new skipper.
