The Australian’s Adam Creighton says the Democrats have to “realise” that the identical normal that they created is “now being applied to them as well”.
The US House of Representatives voted on Thursday to take away Ilhan Omar from the Foreign Affairs Committee.
“They have invented this new standard and they are going to have to face the consequences,” Mr Creighton instructed Sky News host James Morrow.
“It seems a perfectly reasonable move and the claim of racism or being anti-Muslim is completely absurd.
“This is hardly about race, it’s about principle based on a standard that Democrats themselves have set up.”
