Rupert Grint has made surprising claims about his private expertise immersed within the Harry Potter franchise.
Navigating his approach to international stardom, the 34-year-old kicked off his iconic Ron Weasley position aged 11 when he appeared in eight movies.
Revealing his ideas to Bustie, the actor stated the Potter position was “so full-on”.
“Potter was so full on — (filming) all year, then we’d promote the rest of the time. It was quite suffocating.”
“I wanted a break, to reflect on everything… It was an out-of-body experience for a while, but I think we finished at the right time. But I think we finished at the right time.”
“If we continued, it could’ve gone downhill.”
Opening up about his time within the position, Grint expressed the deep connection he felt with the red-haired character, stating it’s now his “second name”.
“In the movies, we merged into one.”
